 Hi, my name is Dan Podosek. I am 18 years old, and I was born in Streamwood, Illinois. As of August 2008, I have been living in Chicago where I attend DePaul University as a Finance major. After being a Little League umpire for 5 years, I am now on the Chicago Cubs Grounds Crew at Wrigley Field. Not surprisingly, I started playing baseball at age 5. I love to spend time BMXing both back home and in the city, and I also love to skydive. Virtually every summer, I take a road trip to Cedar Point to enjoy roller coasters, parasailing, and jet skiing. Ultimately, I love to travel. Excluding the many states I have visited, I have been to Germany, Switzerland, and Mexico. Some of my favorite bands include Blink-182, The Bravery, In Flames, The Living End, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Offspring, Opiate for the Masses, Static-X, and Tenacious D. Some of my favorite movies include A Christmas Story, The Breakfast Club, Dumb and Dumber, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, For Love of the Game, Ladder 49, The Sandlot, Shawshank Redemption, and Wayne's World. My favorite TV shows are Baseball Tonight, Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno, MXC, Ninja Warrior, Scarred, Seinfeld, Sportscenter, Unbeatable Banzuke, and the X-Games. My favorite books are 1984, A Tale of Two Cities, Boy's Life, Brave New World, George Carlin, Murder on the Orient Express, and The Power of One. I flip my pillow over to get to the cold side, I must put my left shoe on before I put my right shoe on and both shoes must be the same tightness, I often count the number of letters in words and sentences, and I am incredibly superstitious.
